Last Friday, July 18, Marina Sánchez-Serrano, GEAR member, brilliantly completed her PhD in Economics.
The Thesis entitled «La heterogeneidad de los hogares y su impacto sobre la sostenibilidad. Un análisis multiescalar a través del enfoque input-output», was supervised by Jorge Zafrilla and Guadalupe Arce.
The thesis tribunal was formed by Professors Cristina Sarasa, from University of Zaragoza, Spain, and Andrea Caragliu, from Politecnico di Milano, and by European Commission member Antonio Amores.
Pilar Osorio, GEAR member, has completed her PhD in Economics.
The thesis entitled “Sustainability of household consumption and challenges for decarbonization in Spain and Castilla-La Mancha through input-output analysis”, was supervised by María Ángeles Cadarso and María Ángeles Tobarra, and is composed of three peer-reviewed papers:

In Ángela’s dissertation thesis defense, we were able to enjoy a masterful presentation in which she demonstrated a very high level of knowledge about the abject phenomenon of indecent work along the global production chains.
The thesis tribunal was formed by the renowned doctors Rocío Román, from the University of Seville, Iñaki Arto, from BC3 of the Basque Country, and André Carrascal, from the University of Oviedo.
