Last October 5th, Mr. Nicolás Valiente Parra, defended, in the EID-UCLM Conference Hall, the Doctoral Tesis entitled «A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH FOR ASSESSING NATURAL ATTENUATION OF POLLUTANTS IN A HIGHLY SALINE LAKE-AQUIFER SYSTEM: THE CASE OF PÉTROLA LAKE, SPAIN «.

The Thesis obtained the maximum qualification: Excellent «cum laude». The title of Doctor will include the «International Doctorate Mention». The thesis was supervised by Juan José Gómez Alday (Faculty of Education-UCLM) and Franz Jirsa (Institute of Inorganic Chemistry-University of Vienna).
