CARMEN DIAZ MORA was interviewed in the CCM radio programme on UCLM research dissemination

CARMEN DIAZ MORA was interviewed in “Investiga, que no es poco” the 29th of April 2018. This CMM Radio programme is devoted to the diffusion of research developed in UCLM. It is conducted and directed by Román Escudero.

During the interview, Carmen explained the relevance of outside markets in the Spanish economic recovery after the 2008 recession, as well as the key tools to improve Spanish firms exports in a sustained way.

Jesús Ortuno took part in XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación

Jesús Ortuno took part in XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación, organized by the UCLM Permanent Seminar in Social Sciences.The XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación were held 26th of April in UCLM Social Sciences School in Cuenca.

Jesús presented his work on “explosion to task automation in EU-15 countries”; it is a joint paper with Maria A. Davia. The paper was discussed by David Corcoles, also member of ISPEc group.

Nuria Legazpe took part in XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación

Nuria Legazpe took part in XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación, organized by the UCLM Permanent Seminar in Social Sciences. The XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación were held 26th of April in UCLM Social Sciences School in Cuenca.

MEETING IN CASTILLA – LA MANCHA WINE INSTITUTE (IVICAM)

ISPEC researcher Ángela Triguero took part in the meeting held in the Castilla – La Mancha The Wine Institute (IVICAM) the 6th of March 2018. The scientific and technological potencial strength in the agro-food industry as regards the wine market were presented to the main firms in the sector.

ISPEc group is one of the 25 research groups in UCLM including the wine sector in its technological port-folio.

New PhD students in ISPEc group

After the renewal, in 2016, of the bilateral collaboration agreements between UCLM and  Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) in México, during the academic year three ISPEC group researchers are supervising three PhD students in a co-supervision with UABC. We hope to increase the number of common PhD students between both institutions in future academic years.

Two new ISPEc – associated researchers

ISPEc – welcomes two associated researchers

Professor Juan I. Palacio, Applied Economics Professor. He is currently a research associate in UCLM and, during his time working in UCLM, he was actually ISPEc group founder!

Jesus Ortuno, PhD student in the Economics and Business Administration programme in UCLM. For his dissertation, he is working on robotization in the EU labour markets.
