CARMEN DIAZ MORA was interviewed in “Investiga, que no es poco” the 29^th of April 2018. This CMM Radio programme is devoted to the diffusion of research developed in UCLM. It is conducted and directed by Román Escudero.

During the interview, Carmen explained the relevance of outside markets in the Spanish economic recovery after the 2008 recession, as well as the key tools to improve Spanish firms exports in a sustained way.

Jesús Ortuno took part in XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación, organized by the UCLM Permanent Seminar in Social Sciences.The XI Jornadas Científicas de Difusión de la Investigación were held 26th of April in UCLM Social Sciences School in Cuenca.

Jesús presented his work on “explosion to task automation in EU-15 countries”; it is a joint paper with Maria A. Davia. The paper was discussed by David Corcoles, also member of ISPEc group.

Jesus Ortuno has taken part in VI G9 DOCTORAL DAYS in Universidad de Cantabria (Santander) the 11^th, 12^th and 13^th of April. He has presented his poster “Effects of new technologies on the EU labour market”, with which he got the second award in the posters contest during VII UCLM Doctoral Day, under the category “Social Science and Law”.

ISPEC researcher Ángela Triguero took part in the meeting held in the Castilla – La Mancha The Wine Institute (IVICAM) the 6^th of March 2018. The scientific and technological potencial strength in the agro-food industry as regards the wine market were presented to the main firms in the sector.

ISPEc group is one of the 25 research groups in UCLM including the wine sector in its technological port-folio.

ISPEC researcher Carmen Díaz – Mora has taken part in the 1^st Portuguese-Spanish forum for internationalization in Universidad Autonoma de Lisboa, the 26h of February 2018, in collaboration with Cátedra Global Nebrija Santander in Firms Internationalizaton. She has talked about Spain in the transnational value chains.

GABRIEL PRUNEDA, assistant lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics in Oviedo University made a brief research stay in the School for Economics and Business Administration in Albacete from the 11^th to the 14^th of December 2017.

After the renewal, in 2016, of the bilateral collaboration agreements between UCLM and  Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) in México, during the academic year three ISPEC group researchers are supervising three PhD students in a co-supervision with UABC. We hope to increase the number of common PhD students between both institutions in future academic years.
