Dr. Antonio de Lucas-Consuegra,  is full Professor of the Chemical Engineering Department of the Chemistry Science and Technology Faculty of the University of Castilla La Mancha. He received from the same university, his Ph.D. with honour (cum laude) on Chemical Engineering working in the area of alkaline-EPOC. His research interests also focus on electrocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, electrolysis and electrochemical promotion of catalytic reactions. He has authored above 85 publications and more than 100 oral and posters presentation in National and International conferences. He has also supervised 6 PhD students on the field of electrocatalysis and Electrochemical Promotion of Catalysis. He has been the Principal Investigator of several research projects with companies devoted to the implementation of EPOC in industrial energy applications systems and diferent National and Regional research projects.

Antonio de Lucas Consuegra teachs diferent subjects on the Chemical Engineering degree of the University of Castilla La Mancha (Fluid Mechanics, Basic Operation Units, Renewable Energy and Integrated teaching Lab) as well as in the Chemical Engineering Master (New Technologies on Energy and Environment) .
