Yesterday, the second edition of our Undergraduate Module “Cultural diversity and identities in the European context”. Using a blended method of in-class and virtual learning, we have been able to deliver the contents corresponding to this module and adapt our Jean Monnet Chair activities to the new normal.

International Module cancelled
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, we are so sad to announce that the first edition of our International Module “Understanding European integration from below: A human and cultural approach to EU studies” has had to be cancelled. We thank very warmly our colleagues in Guangzhou and Nanchang for their kind enthusiasm and help in the organization of this even, and look forward to new opportunities to work together in the near future!
Jean Monnet Chair FELICE approved for funding by the European Commission
The Jean Monnet Chair FELICE: Feeling Europe; Languages, Identities and Collective Emotions in the European Unionhas been approved for co-funding by the European Commission with an excellent mark (98.5 out of 100).
Between September 2019 and August 2022, we will be working on the promotion of EU multilingualism, European identities and language policies among UCLM students, professionals and the general public. Furthermore, other EU-related modules will be delivered in China, India, Vietnam and other countries all around the world.
