As expected of a university professor, Prof. Rodrigo’s scientific research has been accompanied by a strong commitment to training new researchers. He has supervised 30 doctoral theses, both nationally and internationally, including several joint supervision agreements (cotutelas) with Brazilian universities such as University of São Paulo, Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Tiradentes University, and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico.
He is deeply involved in mentorship, supervising approximately 10 international pre- and postdoctoral students per year, and has also directed over 140 undergraduate and master’s theses.
