Who I am

I am a Full Professor at the Computing Systems Department of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) where I lecture in Software Engineering.

Prior to this position, I did research at the Computer Science Laboratory of the AUA (Greece) funded by the EU TMR Program.  I had previously served on the staff of the Regional Government of Murcia.

I am author of more than 100 papers, being more than 50 papers in relevant journals indexed in JCR, regarding software architecture and requirements engineering. She is involved in numerous R&D projects as well as in Knowledge transfer projects.

My current research interests are mainly related to the design and development of Digital Twins with a special focus on Software Architecture and Requirements Engineering.

On September 26, 2025 I gave the inaugural speech of the Academic Year at the University of Castilla-La Mancha entitled:“Look, your grace, they are not giants, but Digital Twins.”
