AESLA 2016

In the 34th International Conference of the Spanish Society for Applied Linguistics AESLA (Alicante, 14-16 April 2016), Rosario Caballero  delivered the talk “Exploring the verbs used in Speech Framing Expressions in Spanish and English from a typological perspective” (abstract).  This was also the first time her PhD student Marta Gómez Linares presented some of the results of her MA thesis in a conference (“The role of ICM ACTION metonymies in football post-match reports” abstract). A really good talk and, of course, lots of figurative motion in her data 🙂
