Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong> Experience in Scientific Management and Strategic Advisory Roles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Rodrigo served as <strong>editor of the <em>Journal of Electrochemical Science and Engineering<\/em><\/strong> from <strong>2011 to 2016<\/strong>, and currently sits on the <strong>Editorial Boards<\/strong> of the following journals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Separation &amp; Purification Technology<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Journal of Hazardous Materials<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Current Opinion in Electrochemistry<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Journal of Applied Electrochemistry<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He has been <strong>guest editor<\/strong> for <strong>10 special issues<\/strong> in journals indexed in the <strong>Web of Science<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 in <em>Journal of Environmental Management<\/em><\/li>\n<li>2 in <em>Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry<\/em><\/li>\n<li>3 in <em>Electrochimica Acta<\/em><\/li>\n<li>1 in <em>Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering<\/em><\/li>\n<li>3 in <em>Journal of Applied Electrochemistry<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He is currently editing <strong>several additional special issues<\/strong> in other journals.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Rodrigo was <strong>Head of Division 5 (Electrochemical Process Engineering and Technology)<\/strong> of the <strong>International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE)<\/strong> from <strong>2022 to 2024<\/strong>, and previously served as <strong>Vice President<\/strong> of the same division during <strong>2015\u20132016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He was <strong>Chair of the Working Party on Electrochemical Engineering<\/strong> of the <strong>European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE)<\/strong> from <strong>2011 to 2018<\/strong>, and remains active in the group, as well as in the <strong>Energy Section<\/strong> of the EFCE since <strong>2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, he is <strong>Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Technologies at UCLM<\/strong> (2021\u2013), having previously served as <strong>Vice Dean<\/strong> (2007\u20132015) and <strong>Coordinator of the Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Chemical Engineering<\/strong> (April 2009\u2013February 2016).<\/p>\n<p>He also leads the <strong>Spanish Excellence Network on Environmental and Energy Applications of Electrochemical Technology<\/strong> (2018\u20132025), and has organized <strong>multiple events<\/strong> on electrochemical technology, including an <strong>ISE Topical Meeting<\/strong> and an <strong>EFCE Summer School<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>His service to the scientific community includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Collaborator for the Chemical Technology area<\/strong> at ANEP (Spanish National Agency for Evaluation and Prospective) from <strong>July 2015 to January 2017<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborator in the CTQ\/IQM area<\/strong> of the Spanish Research Agency (AEI) from <strong>January 2017 to June 2020<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Member of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee<\/strong> of the <strong>National Center for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Testing (CNH2)<\/strong> in Spain from <strong>December 2013 to September 2018<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee<\/strong> of the <strong>Research Center for Technologies, Energy and Industrial Processes<\/strong> at the <strong>University of Vigo<\/strong> since <strong>January 2021<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Member of the Castilla-La Mancha Science Advisory Council<\/strong> (2022\u20132025), a consultative body of the regional government<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He has also been an <strong>academic guest<\/strong> at the <strong>Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL)<\/strong> and a <strong>visiting professor<\/strong> at the <strong>University of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vall\u00e9e (France)<\/strong>.
