The event was organized by The Conversation<\/em> and the Climate Change Chair of the University of Oviedo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the roundtable titled \u201cDevelopment, Economy, and the Welfare State in the Context of Global Change\u201d<\/em>, she shared her insights alongside biologist Fernando Valladares (CSIC) and chemist Olga Mart\u00edn Alonso (Aclima), in a discussion moderated by Lorena S\u00e1nchez (The Conversation<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1ngela addressed key issues, including the implications of potential restructuring of global value chains and the environmental impact of international trade, offering a critical economic perspective on the challenges posed by the ecological transition in vulnerable contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
