{"id":1665,"date":"2022-04-27T14:40:13","date_gmt":"2022-04-27T13:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.uclm.es\/grupogear\/?p=1665"},"modified":"2022-04-27T14:40:13","modified_gmt":"2022-04-27T13:40:13","slug":"new-publication-in-the-jcp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uclm.es\/grupogear\/2022\/04\/27\/new-publication-in-the-jcp\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW PUBLICATION IN THE JCP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The GEAR members \u00c1ngela Garc\u00eda, Jorge Zafrilla, and Fabio Monsalve, in collaboration with Enrique Gilles, researcher at @CESA_edu, have recently published in the Journal of Cleaner Production the paper entitled: \u00abMeasuring a university&#8217;s environmental performance: A standardized proposal for carbon footprint assessment\u00bb.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This paper explores the role of organizations fighting climate change and offers a standardized and refined model to assess the direct and indirect carbon footprint embodied in the organization&#8217;s activity. In the analyzed case, a Colombian University, results show how more than 94% of total emissions are indirect.
