{"id":1551,"date":"2020-09-29T16:43:46","date_gmt":"2020-09-29T15:43:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uclm.es\/grupogear\/?p=1551"},"modified":"2020-09-29T16:43:46","modified_gmt":"2020-09-29T15:43:46","slug":"new-publication-in-economic-systems-research-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uclm.es\/grupogear\/2020\/09\/29\/new-publication-in-economic-systems-research-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW PUBLICATION IN ECONOMIC SYSTEMS RESEARCH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GEAR Group members \u00c1ngela\nGarc\u00eda-Alaminos, Mateo Ortiz, Guadalupe Arce, and Jorge Zafrilla have recently\npublished a new research article in Economic Systems Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paper, entitled\n\u201cReassembling social defragmented responsibilities: the indecent labour\nfootprint of US multinationals overseas\u201d, presents news insights about the social\nimpacts embodied in multinational firms\u2019 global value chains.&nbsp; Combining a &nbsp;socially extended MRIO model with three social\nindicators (forced labour, fatal and nonfatal occupational injuries) from the\nindecent labour database developed by \u00c1ngela Garc\u00eda-Alaminos,&nbsp; we find that the activities of US\nmultinationals foreign affiliates show increasing trends between 2009 and 2013\non indecent labour, contributing with 1.1%\u20131.3% of the global cases.
