What we offer …
The University of Castilla-La Mancha offers eighteen doctoral programs for the completion of your dissertation.
DIVERSITY. The programs cover the five disciplines: Arts and Humanities, Science, Health Sciences, Law and Social Sciences, Engineering and Architecture.
- QUALITY. The programs are in line with the current legislation and have been positively evaluated by the national educational authorities.
- COLLABORATION. Seven of our programs are offered through collaboration with other universities in Spain.

A Campus of Excellence
In 2011, the UCLM was recognized by the Spanish government as a “Campus of International Excellence” for its project “Campus Científico y Tecnológico de la Energía y el Medio Ambiente (CYTEMA)” and its resulting efforts in the teaching, research and knowledge transfer in the area of Energy and Environmental Science.

Resources
The University of Castilla-La Mancha consists of 40 teaching facilities, 36 departments and 35 research centers divided amongst its four main campuses in Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo along with its satellite campuses in Almadén and Talavera de la Reina. It is in these campuses where doctoral candidates are able to begin the investigative process which will lead them toward the development and completion of their dissertations.

Grants & Scholarships
In addition to the various regional, national and international public and private grant programs, the UCLM, within the framework of their own research program co-funded by the European Social Fund, offers the possibility for the candidate to obtain a pre-doctoral contract in order to study and carry out their research project.

Mobility
UCLM promotes mobility of students and teachers, both predoctoral and postdoctoral stage, as a main part in training of young researchers, offering its own programmes of funds and spreading other calls and interesting actions.
