Durante mi tesis, realic\u00e9 aportaciones en Matem\u00e1tica Discreta y Aprendizaje Autom\u00e1tico. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os me he dedicado a la Oncolog\u00eda Matem\u00e1tica en el grupo MOLAB (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.molab.es\">http:\/\/www.molab.es<\/a>), con estudios centrados en tumores cerebrales, principalmente el glioblastoma, el tumor cerebral m\u00e1s com\u00fan y agresivo. He desarrollado trabajos basados en el desarrollo de biomarcadores en glioblastoma y otros tumores usando im\u00e1genes m\u00e9dicas pretratamiento. Tambi\u00e9n he construido modelos capaces de predecir la supervivencia de los pacientes de glioblastoma, as\u00ed como su respuesta a diferentes tratamientos. He publicado m\u00e1s de 20 art\u00edculos indexados en JCR, 16 de ellos en el primer cuartil en sus respectivas \u00e1reas de conocimiento. Asimismo, he participado en m\u00e1s de 20 congresos y en varios proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n.<br \/>\nAdem\u00e1s, he impartido m\u00e1s de 60 cr\u00e9ditos ECTS de docencia en Grado y 6 en M\u00e1ster. En enero del a\u00f1o 2022 obtuve la acreditaci\u00f3n como Profesor Titular de Universidad por la ANECA y estoy dirigiendo dos tesis doctorales en la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, una en Matem\u00e1tica Aplicada y otra en Did\u00e1ctica de las Matem\u00e1ticas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>About me:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>I am Associate Professor of Didactics of Mathematics at University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) and an Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Didactics of Mathematics researcher. During my PhD, I made proposals focused on Discrete Mathematics and Machine Learning techniques. However, in the last years I have move to Mathematical Oncology research at MOLAB group (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.molab.es\">http:\/\/www.molab.es<\/a>), with research focused on brain tumors, mainly glioblastoma, the most common and aggressive primary brain tumor. I have published articles based focused in the development of glioblastoma (and other types of Brian tumors) biomarkers using pretreatment magnetic resonance images. Also, I have developed models able to predict survival of glioblastoma patients, and so their response to different treatments. I have published more than 20 papers in JCR indexed journals, most of them in the first quartile of their respective \u00e1reas of knowledge. Also, I have contributed to more tan 20 scientific conferences and various research projects.<br \/>\nAdditionally, I have completed more tan 60 ECTS credits of teaching in Degree and 6 in Master.
