One of the objectives of CYTEMA, the Energy and Environment Science and Technology Campus of International Excellence of the University of Castilla-La Mancha –UCLM- is to promote interdisciplinary research beyond the boundaries of the university and participating in frontline knowledge networks. This leads to the proposal for the development of the Energy and Environment Knowledge Week Congress –E2KW-, designed to be an international multidisciplinary event planned to discuss and present cutting-edge research in energy and environment in all possible fields of study. The event will feature prestigious researchers and the collaboration of leading companies in the application of energy efficiency measures.
E2KW 2016 will take place in the University Paris Est-Créteil (UPEC), in the city of Paris. Founded in 1970, UPEC is the largest multidisciplinary university in Ile-de-France, established itself both as a regionally grounded institution and an internationally oriented university.
In E2KW 2016, the collaborating journals with special issues are:
Environmental Science and Pollution Research,  Journal of Cleaner Production, Pollution and Sustainability.
